Teachers

I'm not picking on Emma Close, but a Facebook conversation this morning has provoked a question. I appreciate that teachers get as much holiday as they do - that's just how it is. But who deserves it more?

As such, Teachers - i know how you love a quiz. I'll tell you about a couple of my friends and you tell me if you DESERVE holiday more, less or the same as them. Ps they each only get roughly 4 weeks per year.

Paul - infantryman, British army. Currently serving front line in Afghanistan.

Gavin - prison warden, HMP Durham.

Ian - Metropolitan Police, Anti terror unit.

Keith - night roadworker, Newcastle City Council. Currently re-tarmacing A1 at Morpeth.

My friend moved to France to be a mime. Haven't heard from him since.
